LB1048 Passes Second Round
LB1048 Passed the second round of debate in the Nebraska Legislature today! Yay! Only the final reading and the Governor’s signature to go. We’re almost there!
This blog is to document the steps we went through to get LB1048 passed in Nebraska. LB1048 provides a Certificate of Birth Resulting in Stillbirth to parents. It went into effect on April 16, 2008.
Brandy's son, Carter, was stillborn due to a heart defect in January 2005.
Trish's son, Myles, was stillborn in November 2007 of an unknown cause.
